CAN MAP

This post describes the CAN map.

The CAN map is a table that summarizes the key requirements in the CAN software requirements specification. The CAN map includes the following items. Based on this information, CAN software is developed. The CAN map also clarifies the exchange of information between ECUs (nodes) and can be used for test specifications.

  • Send ECU
  • Send Event/Cycle
  • Message (Data array of Data0-Data7)
  • Diagnostic type and value of message
